We have a Pet Protector on every dog in our Kennel!
1 - Use a Flea Comb to make sure all Flea's or Ticks are gone. Check between toes, Anal, Ears, Neck & Belly...If you find
a Tick, use Tweezers and Remove, Then spray Hydrogen Peroxide on the area. Make sure you get the BABY next to it..
2 - Shampoo with Life's Abundance Shampoo and add in 1 Tablespoon Richards Organics Spray into the Shampoo...It is
recommended to brush in the shampoo. Aussies have a thick undercoat. Rinse well and repeat if necessary...
3 - After your Puppy is dry, spray down with the Richards Organic Spray and keep in the Excer-pen until dry... Spray Puppy down every 5 days for 20 days = 5 applications (unless they get wet, the re-apply immediately once dry)...Make sure to spray into ears, between toes on paws and in the anal area as well as the rest of them. When doing faces, just spray it onto your hands and apply with your hands to avoid eyes...
4 - Put 5 to 6 drops of Rosemary Oil or Cedar Oil right onto your Design by Danyell Collar. Space the drops to it goes all the way around. Yes your Puppy will smell like Baked Chicken, but Fleas and Ticks HATE IT! Repeat once every 5 days until Pet Protector Regulates (about 20 days). Then maintain by using once or twice a Month...
4 - While Puppy is drying make sure your Design by Danyell Collar is on snug enough that 2 fingers can slide in there. If you
feel it's too big yet, use a CAR type Key Ring(Picture) to shorten it and place the Pet Protector onto the Key Ring.
I suggest you use a key ring instead of the ring they send. We've lost them here because of other dogs, or puppies pulling on their own. I also suggest you mount it to the back side of the collar opposite from their Rabies Tag and Name Tag.
They will not know it's there....
REMEMBER - PET PROTECTOR IS NOT A MAGIC DISK. IT NEEDS TIME TO REGULATE.
Another tip for making sure that Fleas and Tick that jump on once the Pet Protector is regulated because they realize
they are walking on a "Hostile Environment" is to make a habit of keepingRosemary Oil or Cedar Oil on their collars and sprits them
down with Richards Organics right before a walk. This way you won't have any unwanted TRAVELERS (as we call them)
jumping off into your homes. The Spray keep then away too...
